The Twins Are Turning 2

... in 4 days. But we celebrated earlier than usual this year. The marathon that I have been training for is this upcoming weekend and the weekend after, Grandma Kathy was going to be out of town, so we opted for 2 weekends before the twins' actual birthday to celebrate.

Grandma and Grandpa Montgomery couldn't attend the party, so we celebrated with them the weekend prior to that.

Opening presents

New bears! They knew how much the boys love stuffed animals

A cute pic of Corbin and Daddy at the celebration

Jon works with someone who has a sister in the balloon art business. I thought that sounded like the perfect idea to build a party around.

I had to blow these balloons up individually the morning of the party:

I was so excited when I saw Carrie and Liz's balloon centerpieces that they had made for the twins.

Playing with balloons before the guests arrive

I made everyone rainbow cakes in a jar. I thought that it would be an easy way to present an egg-free dessert.

These balloons had bouncy balls inside of them

Their cousins and their fish on a hook

E and her pony

E and B with their dragons

B and her butterfly

Corbin and his flower

Cam and his teddy bear

C and his new hat!

The kids had a lot of fun with the twins' new roller coaster that they got from grandma and grandpa.

I was so happy to finally have an outdoor birthday party. It was a nice warm day.

Here were the balloon ladies from Balloons by Liz, LLC. They did such a great job.

Jon, there's a vampire on your head!

Ben's Steeler Helmet

Soon it was cake time! Yay for being two and eating a plateful of sugar!

Cameron got this cat from Grandma Kathy. They loved it so much that I had to order another one just so they wouldn't fight over it.

Kisses for the new Build A Bear

Here are the new bears in their Star Wars garb from Uncle Ben

New sock monkey hat!

The birthday boys in their birthday hats!

Mommy and her birthday boys!

I can't believe it's been 2 years already. I will always call them my babies!
