Fun in the Sun & Writing Letters!

Corbin was bugging us the other night while we were getting the twins ready for bed. He wanted to show us something on his Magnadoodle. Finally, he was persistent enough for me to stop & watch him while he showed me something. To my amazement, he had an "A" on the board. He excitedly exclaimed, "A!" Thinking that maybe the letter was previously drawn on there by Jon or myself, I didn't think too much of it, but I was curious. So, I erased the "A" & he immediately drew a "B!" I yelled at Jon, who was coming down the basement steps. Then Corbin kept going! He proceeded to draw the entire alphabet on his board!

The next morning, I got out a crayon & paper to see if he could also write using those tools. He immediately started to write the alphabet. As quickly as I could, I grabbed the camera. This video is from those exact moments:

We are incredibly proud of him, as he's only 2 1/2 years old & such a quick learner. I went out & bought some preschool workbooks for him to work in so that I will have new ideas of things to teach him until he gets to preschool next year.

After a week of rain, we have now been having some great, sunny weather. This past weekend, we had a great time hanging outside in the backyard. Corbin ran through the sprinkler & the babies chilled on the quilt.

Here are some pictures of some adorable boys I know enjoying the weather!
