Developmental Changes

On the same day as my last post, October 2, Jamie decided to get very bold & take consecutive steps!

He is so proud of himself! He smiles big ang brightly every time he falls as if to say, "Look what I just did!"

Cameron is now sleeping through the night! It is so nice to go to bed knowing that I won't have to get up at 2 or 4 AM to feed him a bottle.

Speaking of bottles, we are trying to wean them from them & on to sippy cups. They are doing okay, but Jamie can't get used to the quicker flow. He takes a big chug of it, and then lets it all fall out of his mouth. Cam does fine with it, but it's encouraging him to sit still to drink from it that's the problem.

We've started a new bedtime routine- no bottles to sleep anymore. We're giving them milk/formula before they go up for their baths. Then they splash around & I wrestle them into drying off & their sleepers. I brush their teeth & read them each 3 books. We rock for a quick moment & sing a few songs before I turn their soothers on & tuck them in. So far, it's going really well.

Here are some recent pics of our three cuties:

All of these changes are happening because they are hitting the one year milestone in just one week! I cannot believe how fast it has gone.
