Christmas Festivities Begin!

The kids met Santa in early December. I was shocked that they wanted to meet him, first of all. Last year, we sort of waved to Santa from afar, and even that was met with a lot of apprehension and disdain.

But this year, they wanted to go sit on his lap. We left before the mall opened their stores and stood in line for an hour to meet him. And surprisingly, the kids were patient and willingly waited for him.

We are so lucky this year that we get to spend the holidays at home.

Grandpa Rick and Grandma Judy came down to visit on Saturday. We went over to Ben and Tamara's to have the kids exchange presents with them. It was a lot of fun- the kids had a blast, too.

Angry Birds is really fun and addicting- even for toddlers!

Then on Sunday, we went back to exchange gifts with great grandma and great grandpa. The kids are really getting the hang of opening presents. They really get excited to open a present now. It's so fun to watch!

Waiting patiently...

Let's Rock Elmo!

Can't wait to do it all again next weekend!
