"Tis the Season!

For Thanksgiving, we spent the day with the Kranz side in Toledo. Very nice to see everybody!

Cute pic of great grandpa Kranz and Cam. Jamie won't go to anyone he doesn't know well, so we couldn't get any pics of him with anyone.

Jamie wanted my wine, but he didn't get to it in time.

An attempt to get a pic of Jamie with Great Grandpa Montgomery

Brotherly love

Dinner

Great Grandma Montgomery spoiling Cam & hand-feeding him. LOL

We were a little exhausted by the end of the evening from chasing the babies around, but did that stop me from Black Friday shopping? Nooooooo...

My mother-in-law and I braved the Toys R Us line on Thursday night to score a bunch of 50% off deals. Thankfully, I was not after an electronics that night, so it was not a high stress situation; however, as soon as I was done at TRU, I bundled up & took a thermos of coffee & parked my butt in the Target line. That was my first Black Friday all-nighter & I must say that it was kind of fun. Except for the freezing part. The rest of it was exciting, though. I had the people in line and my phone to entertain me. I got everything on my list, so I guess it was worth it!

We had our Christmas photos taken by our friend, Joe. He did a great job and was so much more patient with us than a national portrait studio was with us recently. We got matching jammies for the shoot & I must say that I think they turned out great!

A couple of candid shots that I took afterward:

We've got the tree decorated. It's the same tree that we had last year, but I tried to get more creative with the photos.

Corbin and I made Christmas cookies a few days ago. He really enjoyed the process of cutting them out and then decorating the baked cookies.

Jon had his holiday party at Belterra Casino and Resort on Saturday night. We had Monica stay with the boys overnight & enjoyed our night out sans kiddos. We both missed them, though! Here we are on Saturday night. It took me a lonnnnng time to find this dress!

I'm sure this is going to be a busy Christmas season. The house looks so great & we are starting new traditions with Corbin. He's been putting up the advent ornaments on my childhood advent calendar that my mom made each day for December. We've also been doing the Elf on the Shelf. He gets so excited each morning to find that Elf! In about a week, we start the twelve days of Christmas, too, where he will find a dollar item outside his door every morning to countdown to Christmas!
