Two Days Until Fall's Official Start

We have already started celebrating. Fall is the one time of year that I have a list of places that I want to visit. There are just so many fun autumn activities in central Ohio. I just love dressing the kids up in their fall clothing and getting out and about.

We took an outing to Creekside a couple of weeks ago to take some pictures and let the boys run around.

Releasing a lot of energy!

Jamie

The twins explored the park. I remember that everyone napped really well that day.

The boys posing for me. Not everyone will look at the camera at the same time, but that's just how it is.

Another fall tradition that we have is picking apples at Lynd's Fruit Farm. This year, the week that we chose coordinated with Corbin's apple unit in preschool, so he was very excited to go pick apples at the orchard. He got very into searching for the pink and green ribbons, which coordinated with the Macintosh and Jonathan apples that were ripe for the picking.

He warmed up to the idea after a while, but Cam was the only hesitant one. He mostly wanted to be carried around the orchard. Thankfully, he's light, so I don't mind. Most of the pictures were taken with him on my hip.

Jamie really got into picking the apples. He absolutely loved it!

Mommy and Cam

The boys played in the playground area for a while. Well, Jamie and Corbin did. Cam was still glued to my hip.

King of the Hill! So proud of himself...

We went into the corn maze. A very complicated, lengthy labrynth. We had to cheat quite a bit in order to get out. Once we could hear people again, we just headed in that direction.

We are finally out of that maze!

Waiting in line to check out. We bought pumpkin butter, Pixie Crunch apples, peach salsa and frog jam (figs and berries).

How tall are we this year? About 3 1/2 feet. We'll have to take a look next year, too!
